Kingosurfing is a small surf school based at Goolwa Beach but running lessons across multiple Fleurieu beaches depending on the day's conditions. Coach Chris Kingston (Kingo) takes the lessons himself - 2-hour group classes on weekends and during school holidays, and private lessons available year-round.
Who it's for
Lessons are open to anyone aged 5 and up, from absolute beginners to intermediate and advanced surfers. The 2-hour structure includes board and wetsuit hire, beach safety briefing, paddling and pop-up technique, and time in the water with the coach.

Lessons run at Goolwa Beach, Middleton, Port Elliot, Victor Harbor and Port Noarlunga - Kingo picks the beach with the best conditions on the day. Goolwa Beach is the most-used location, with a small surf camp available for accommodation just a 5-minute walk from the sand.
