Artworx Gallery has been Goolwa's main contemporary art destination for more than a decade, set in a deep gallery space on Cadell Street a short walk from the Goolwa Wharf. The gallery represents a stable of Fleurieu Peninsula and broader South Australian artists, with rotating feature exhibitions and a permanent stock collection covering paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photography and contemporary jewellery.

Every work in the gallery is for sale, and the staff are happy to talk through the artists, their practice and the price points. The space punches above its weight for a country gallery - the curation is genuinely good and the artist roster is selective.
