A working artisan hub inside the historic Hardys Tintara winery - a gallery, retail space and eight resident artist studios where you can watch metal sculptors, painters and ceramicists at work.

An artisan hub in a heritage winery

Fleurieu Arthouse occupies a section of the historic Hardys Tintara winery building on Main Road, McLaren Vale. It is a multi-use creative space combining a contemporary gallery, a retail shop and eight working artist studios, all under the same roof. The Arthouse is run by metal sculpture artists Anna Small and Warren Pickering.

Watch the artists work

The artist studios are open-topped, so visitors can wander through and look down into each working space - watching painters at the easel, ceramicists at the wheel, sculptors at the bench. The eight resident artists rotate over time and each runs their own practice.

What's for sale

The gallery space hosts changing exhibitions and the retail shop carries one-off works by the resident artists and other Fleurieu makers - prints, ceramics, jewellery, glasswork, sculpture and textiles. The bigger works in the gallery are available for sale.
