A boutique Scarpantoni-family winery on the original 1840 Oxenberry Farm homestead, with a cellar door cafe and duck-filled wetlands.

A heritage homestead

Oxenberry Farm is set on one of McLaren Vale's earliest farming properties - the 1840 Oxenberry homestead on Kangarilla Road, just outside the town centre. The Scarpantoni family run it as a small-batch winery alongside their main Scarpantoni operation, with a cellar door cafe in the heritage stone outbuildings.

Cafe and grounds

The cafe serves cheese platters, pizzas and shared plates with the wines. The wetland behind the cellar door is full of ducks and a couple of wooden bridges - a relaxed half-hour stop on a McLaren Vale tour.
