Home of the Cube

Fifth-generation family winery famous for the Dead Arm Shiraz and the architecturally striking five-storey d'Arenberg Cube tasting room.

A McLaren Vale icon

Founded in 1912 by Joseph Osborn, d'Arenberg is a fifth-generation family-owned winery renowned for basket-pressing and foot-treading of its Shiraz and Grenache. Chief winemaker Chester Osborn has led the estate since 1984 and is known for distinctive, quirky wine names such as The Dead Arm, The Laughing Magpie, The Coppermine Road and The Hermit Crab.

The d'Arenberg Cube

Completed in 2017, the five-storey d'Arenberg Cube rises above the vineyards and houses a restaurant, tasting rooms, a blending bench experience, a museum, and rotating art exhibitions including Salvador Dali bronze sculptures. The Cube has become one of the most visited attractions on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
