A mid-19th century inn turned modern Australian dining room with an epic wine cellar and 250-strong gin bar.
A McLaren Vale heritage dining room
The Salopian Inn is one of the most respected restaurants on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Housed in a mid-19th-century stone inn on McMurtrie Road, it has become known for refined modern Australian cooking that leans heavily on regional produce.
The cellar and the gin bar
The wine cellar holds more than 600 wines with particular strength in McLaren Vale and aged Shiraz. The bar stocks over 250 gins - one of the largest collections in South Australia. Lunch is served seven days; dinner Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
