Gilbert's Motor Museum is a family-run collection in the heart of Strathalbyn showcasing classic and vintage cars, motoring memorabilia and advertising, petrol station signage and a small collection of motorcycles. The museum rotates the cars on display, so there is usually something different each time you visit.

The collection

The collection spans from early Ford Model T era through to the muscle car era of the 1960s and 70s, with a strong focus on Australian-built vehicles. Highlights include a restored collection of service station signs and pumps, workshop memorabilia and a set of vintage petrol bowsers.
