A monthly antiques, collectables and craft market on the lawns of Lions Park, third Sunday of every month - one of the longest-running country markets on the Fleurieu.

Antiques, collectables and bric-a-brac

The Strathalbyn Sunday Market has been running on the third Sunday of every month since the 1980s, set up across the shaded lawns of Lions Park on South Terrace at the southern end of the historic town. It is a strong antiques and collectables market - vintage furniture, china, glassware, militaria, vinyl - alongside the usual craft, plants and produce stalls.

When and how

Third Sunday of every month, 8am to 2pm. Free entry. Park along South Terrace or in the town - it is a five-minute walk to the main street, the antique shops and the pubs.

A Strathalbyn day out

Pair the market with a wander through the town - St Andrew's Church, the riverside Soldiers Memorial Gardens, Gilbert's Motor Museum and the Station Masters Art Gallery are all within easy walking distance.
