A classic main-street country pub on Strathalbyn's High Street, serving modern Australian dining in a heritage stone building in the heart of town.

In the centre of town

The Robin Hood Hotel sits right in the centre of Strathalbyn on High Street, a couple of doors from the historic main street antique shops and a short walk from the riverside Soldiers Memorial Gardens. Like most of central Strathalbyn the building is heritage stone, with a long bar and a separate dining room.

The food

The kitchen does modern Australian pub-bistro - locally-sourced steaks, a few seafood mains, gourmet pizzas, regular daily specials. The wine list runs to McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills producers, and there is a solid range of local craft beer on tap.

When it's busy

Weekend nights are full. Lunch is usually walk-in friendly.
