A sporting precinct opened in 1926 hosting the Yankalilla Golf Course and the town's football, bowls, netball, hockey and tennis clubs.

The town's sporting heart

Yankalilla Memorial Park was opened in 1926 as a community sporting and memorial precinct, and almost a century later it still functions as the centre of organised sport for the entire Yankalilla district. The park hosts the local football, cricket, netball, hockey, tennis and lawn bowls clubs, and an 18-hole golf course.

Visiting

The park is open and walkable year-round. The clubrooms are usually only open for matches and events but the open spaces are public.
