Whalers Seaside Dining occupies a heritage two-storey stone building on a clifftop section of Franklin Parade in Encounter Bay, with one of the most spectacular ocean view dining rooms on the south coast. The building looks out across Encounter Bay, the Bluff and Wright Island.
What's on the plate
The kitchen leans Mediterranean, with lots of seafood, lemon, herbs and slow-cooked meats. The wine list runs deep on Fleurieu producers.
