Yilki Store sits on Franklin Parade at Encounter Bay, directly opposite the surf break and within walking distance of The Bluff. Part general store, part cafe, part takeaway, it has been a local institution for decades - serving coffee, cooked breakfasts, burgers, burritos and fish and chips from early morning into the evening.
Open seven days from 6am
The store opens at 6am daily, making it a favourite early stop for surfers and dog walkers on Encounter Bay beach. There is limited seating inside and a few tables out front with beachfront views; most customers grab food to eat on the foreshore or at the nearby playgrounds.
