Geoff Merrill's cellar door at the historic Mount Hurtle Winery in Woodcroft - specialising in aged release Shiraz, Cabernet and Chardonnay.
A South Australian winemaking personality
Geoff Merrill is one of Australia's most recognisable winemaking characters (famously moustachioed, deeply connected to the McLaren Vale region). His cellar door is set on four acres of vineyards and landscaped gardens at the historic Mount Hurtle Winery in Woodcroft, at the northern edge of the McLaren Vale zone.
Aged releases
Geoff Merrill Wines is known for its aged release program - Shiraz, Cabernet and Chardonnay held back and released several years after vintage. The cellar door is open Monday-Friday 10am-4:30pm and Saturday 12pm-4:30pm (closed Sundays and public holidays).
