A brewery amongst the vines
Goodieson Brewery is McLaren Vale's independent craft brewery, making a full range of ales and lagers from its brewhouse on Sand Road. Husband-and-wife team Jeff and Mary Goodieson brew everything on site and sell it directly from their small cellar door. Expect a Pale Ale, a Pilsener, a Brown Ale, a Wheat Beer, plus rotating seasonal specials.
Visiting
The brewery cellar door is open six days a week (closed Monday) from 11am to 5pm. Beer flights and packaged takeaways are available. It makes a great change-of-pace stop amongst a day of wine tasting.
