An easy wilderness escape

  • Sundews Ridge Hike (4km, 2 hours): A moderate ridge walk from Sundews carpark
  • Echidna Trail: Features heritage-listed 1880s huts and ruins
  • Gorge Hike (6km, half day): A challenging descent into the gorge, along the river, and back up the ridge
  • Chapel Hill Lookout Loop: An easier option near Old Noarlunga with views over the lower gorge

Wildlife

The park is home to kangaroos, koalas, possums, echidnas and over 100 bird species. The riverside rock pools support native fish, frogs and water birds.
