Alan Varney's restored limestone barn overlooks the Onkaparinga Gorge at Old Noarlunga, right at the northern edge of the McLaren Vale region. The building is heritage-listed and the views across the valley are among the most dramatic in the area.

Wines and experience

Expect shiraz, grenache, nebbiolo, fiano and vermentino, all made with whole-bunch fermentation and minimal intervention. Open Friday to Sunday 11am to 4pm, with walk-ins welcome and snack platters available.
