Hastwell & Lightfoot

"Wines made for eating"

Boutique McLaren Vale winery by Mark Hastwell and Jane Lightfoot, with a relaxed cellar door on Foggo Road and a long history of growing grapes for others.

From vineyard to cellar door

Hastwell & Lightfoot is the boutique family winery of Mark Hastwell and Jane Lightfoot, who have been growing grapes in McLaren Vale since 1988. For most of that time they sold their fruit to other producers; they now also make and bottle a small range of their own wines under the Hastwell & Lightfoot and H&L labels.

Wines made for eating

Their cellar door on Foggo Road follows a simple motto - "wines made for eating" - with Shiraz, Cabernet, Tempranillo and a Rose designed to partner long lunches. Open Friday-Monday 11am-4:30pm. Walk-ins are welcome; groups of 8+ should book ahead.
