Ox Hardy Wines

Sixth-generation Hardy at historic Upper Tintara

Andrew 'Ox' Hardy pours shiraz, grenache and fiano from a rustic tasting space at the historic Upper Tintara Vineyard in Blewitt Springs.

A Hardy family comeback

Andrew 'Ox' Hardy is the sixth-generation descendant of McLaren Vale pioneer Thomas Hardy, and his Ox Hardy label farms the historic Upper Tintara Vineyard in Blewitt Springs, planted in 1891. The cellar door experience is rustic and personal - you might end up chatting to Ox himself among the century-old vines.

The wines

The focus is old-vine Blewitt Springs shiraz and grenache plus a crisp fiano. Tastings are by appointment so call or book online before you head out.
