Shadow Creek Winery sits high above the Turraparri Creek gully on Rifle Range Road, with a cellar door designed to feel like a heritage country homestead. The tasting space looks down to the creek and across to the surrounding McLaren Vale vineyards.
Wine and stay
The estate makes a tight range of Shiraz, Grenache and Cabernet from the surrounding vines. Several luxury self-contained accommodation suites on the property let you turn a tasting visit into an overnight stay. Cellar door open Friday to Sunday.
