The Middleton Tavern is the only pub in Middleton, sitting on the main road through town directly opposite the Surf & Sun shop and a few doors from the Home Grain Bakery outpost. It is a relaxed, single-storey coastal tavern - a long bar, an open dining room, a beer garden out the back.
What's on the menu
A standard pub bistro - parmas, schnitzels, steaks, pizzas and daily specials. Counter meals lunch and dinner, kids menu, takeaway from the bar. The beer list runs to mainstream taps with a few local craft options.
On a surf day
It is the natural rendezvous after a Middleton Beach surf - close enough that you can be at the bar with sand in your hair and no one will care.
