Leonards Mill

Fine dining in a restored 1854 flour mill

Destination restaurant set inside a beautifully restored 1854 flour mill at Second Valley, serving modern Australian tasting menus.

A restored colonial mill

Leonards Mill is set inside the beautifully restored 1854 Leonards flour mill on Main South Road at Second Valley. The three-storey ironstone building is one of the oldest surviving industrial structures on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

The restaurant

The Leonards Mill kitchen produces a modern Australian menu that draws heavily on Fleurieu produce, with a strong local wine list and a focus on degustation and long lunches. It is widely considered one of the most memorable dining destinations on the Fleurieu and was a finalist for Australia's Best New Restaurant when it reopened under new ownership.

Visiting

The restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch, with dinner service on Friday and Saturday nights. Bookings are essential.
