Where to stay on the Fleurieu Peninsula
Vineyard villas, eco retreats, beachfront parks and farm stays - 15 places to bed down
Vineyard villas, eco cabins, beach shacks and farm stays
Where you sleep on the Fleurieu shapes the whole trip. Base yourself among the McLaren Vale vines for a wine-and-food weekend, on the Victor Harbor or Port Elliot foreshore for a family beach holiday, or deep in the Deep Creek and Inman Valley hills for somewhere genuinely off-grid. Many visitors split a couple of nights between the vines and the coast.
These are some of our favourite places to stay across the peninsula, spread by area and style - from luxury eco retreats to classic beachfront holiday parks. Book well ahead for summer, long weekends and whale season.
