Stringybark forest

Kyeema Conservation Park is a 347-hectare reserve of remnant stringybark forest sitting alongside the much larger Kuitpo Forest plantation. The two together form one of the biggest contiguous bushland areas on the central Fleurieu.

Birds

More than 80 bird species have been recorded, including the colourful beautiful firetail, the elusive chestnut-rumped heathwren, painted button-quail, and a long list of honeyeaters and thornbills.

Walking

A network of unsealed walking tracks leads through the forest. Free entry, basic carpark, no facilities. Pair with a Kuitpo Forest visit.
