Matt Wenk's Smidge Wines is exactly what the name suggests - tiny, hand-made parcels from choice McLaren Vale and Barossa sites. The cellar door on Tatachilla Road offers seated flights and a chance to taste wines that regularly land in Wine Spectator's Top 100.
The line-up
Expect shiraz, grenache, cabernet and more left-field Italian and Spanish varieties. Tastings are paid and seated so book ahead.
