Willunga Almond Blossom Festival
Late July - early August
The blossom weekend
Willunga's almond-growing heritage dates back to the 1850s, and the Almond Blossom Festival celebrates the short winter window when the groves are in full flower. The festival includes a street parade through central Willunga, markets, music, local food and access to several blossoming groves.
The grove walks
Several almond growers open their groves to the public for the festival weekend. The blossom itself is typically at its best in the last week of July and the first week of August.
Combine with the Saturday Farmers Market
The festival weekend overlaps with the Willunga Farmers Market, giving a full morning of food, produce and community in the one location.
